- Return Policy
Returns
RETURN POLICY FOR UNION CATHOLIQUE DE L’ÎLE MAURICE
We accept returns for our publications and other related religious products. You can return unopened items in their original packaging within 14 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 14 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email within 5 business days whether you are entitled to a return. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

Exchanges
We exchange goods if they are defective only. In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at sales@laviecatholique.mu, phone 217 3618/19, or mobile 5758 1274 with details of the product and the defect. You can send the item you consider defective to:

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via email within 5 business days whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are eligible, we will send you a replacement product.
Exceptions
Some items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. These include:
- Digital publications and downloadable content
- Items damaged by misuse
Shipping for Returns
To return an item you purchased, please mail it to the address provided above. Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid by you within Mauritius and Rodrigues. You are responsible for any loss or damage during return shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

General Information
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order using the original method of payment.
Delivery Location
Items offered on our Facebook LVC Boutik and eventually via website www.laviecatholique.org and other related social media platforms are available for delivery to addresses in:
- Mauritius
- Rodrigues
- International shipping available to France, Canada, Australia, and other locations where our diaspora community resides
Any shipments to other locations may be arranged upon special request and subject to additional shipping costs.
Delivery Time
Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of order. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we shall make every effort to fulfill your order within 5 business days of the date of your order for local delivery. For international orders, we shall advise you when completing your order.
Business days mean Monday to Friday, except public holidays in Mauritius. Please note we do not ship on Saturdays and Sundays.
Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method:
- Office Collection: Rs 0
- Mauritius Home Delivery: Rs 150 per checkout
- Rodrigues: Calculated based on weight
- International: Calculated based on weight and destination

Prices for our products start from Rs 25 and are subject to change without notice. Unless otherwise indicated, prices displayed are quoted in Mauritian Rupees (MUR).
We reserve the right to refuse orders, including orders that appear to be placed by unauthorized distributors or resellers. If we believe that you have made a false or fraudulent order, we will be entitled to cancel the order and inform the relevant authorities.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of the color or design of the products displayed on our platform. We have made efforts to ensure the color and design of our products are displayed as accurately as possible.
